A happy day is wished to my mother, a woman who can truly get a stain out of anything, usually with just water. Thank you for showing me what a sinner saved by grace and alive in the Spirit looks like. I can't wait to see you as a grandmother...though I know you can wait. Until then, we can keep on dancing, cooking, reading, laughing, and talking together. Whenever you are ready for our Europe trip, I'm ready! I love you, Mama. So much. Thank you for being one of my closest friends.

Oh happy day.
Isn't that just the truth? Mom's can do any kind of laundry known to mankind. I can't wait until I gain that skill. I wonder...does that come when you are first pregnant or when it's time for the first load of laundry after the baby's birth? Hmm...

I'll have to say that I learned to do laundry in college by reading clothing tags, detergent boxes and washing machine instructions! One bit of advice, don't take any glass into the laundry, such as a glass of water to sip. When it falls into the washer and breaks, you are up a creek with no paddle!!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the compliment on my stain removal skills. It is a learned one!! But the sentence that made me praise God was the one in which you said thank you for showing you what a sinner saved by grace and alive in the Spirit looks like. That has always been my intention and I am glad to know you can see Jesus in me.
