Oh happy day.

Isn't that just the truth? Mom's can do any kind of laundry known to mankind. I can't wait until I gain that skill. I wonder...does that come when you are first pregnant or when it's time for the first load of laundry after the baby's birth? Hmm...

A happy day is wished to my mother, a woman who can truly get a stain out of anything, usually with just water. Thank you for showing me what a sinner saved by grace and alive in the Spirit looks like. I can't wait to see you as a grandmother...though I know you can wait. Until then, we can keep on dancing, cooking, reading, laughing, and talking together. Whenever you are ready for our Europe trip, I'm ready! I love you, Mama. So much. Thank you for being one of my closest friends.

  1. I'll have to say that I learned to do laundry in college by reading clothing tags, detergent boxes and washing machine instructions! One bit of advice, don't take any glass into the laundry, such as a glass of water to sip. When it falls into the washer and breaks, you are up a creek with no paddle!!

And thanks for the compliment on my stain removal skills. It is a learned one!! But the sentence that made me praise God was the one in which you said thank you for showing you what a sinner saved by grace and alive in the Spirit looks like. That has always been my intention and I am glad to know you can see Jesus in me.
