Major or Minor?

I'm really hardcore considering changing my major.
Current Major: Social Work.
Optional Major: Elementary Education.

I want to do it. I want to teach young kids, probably PreK-3rd Grade.
I would get more scholarships and have a guaranteed job after graduation.
I would probably enjoy myself a whole lot.
I would get to love on kids. twenty four seven.

All of those things point to yes.
But I'm not getting anything back from God yet.
Patience is not my strong suit.
I know that His plan will be carried out in me.
I just don't know how or what it even totally is.
And that is just a part of this crazy life called being a Christian.
